Controversial opinion: I don’t think there’s ever been a generation that’s less grounded than ours.
We’ve been sold an American Dream that looks like filtered Instagram photos and careers built by hustle culture.
If we want to feel successful, we simply don’t have the time to slow down and connect, right?
But you and I both know this all-or-nothing lifestyle is the opposite of success.
In fact, the surge of sourdough baking, backyard homesteads, and dinner parties in your Instagram feed are a testament to your rebellion.
You’re tired of viewing success by the hours you put in at the office.
You’re tired of feeling uprooted without a sense of home or belonging.
You’re tired of investing all your time and energy into things that don’t matter.
And you’re ready for something new.
That’s why you’re here.
Hi, I’m Stephanie. I’m a mountain enthusiast, chronic wanderer, and future homesteader.
If we’ve ever had a coffee date (I usually order a mocha), I’ve told you that finding a place to call home has been my hardest life challenge.
When I was nineteen, I was forced out of my home due to black mold exposure. Since then, I’ve lived in four states and moved over ten times.
As a self-proclaimed homebody and travel lover, this has been both a challenge and an adventure.
But the more I grow, the more I realize that my uprooted lifestyle isn’t so uncommon (in fact, it might be the new norm).
We’re the first generation that can truly live anywhere and do anything.
And that comes with extra responsibility. We’re all still human, and we need to cultivate a sense of belonging and purpose, even when we live everywhere.
That’s why I created The Everywhere Girl. It’s my personal challenge to build a home that I love, wherever my feet land. It’s my way of grounding with intention — using slow living habits, fulfilling community, and wellness rhythms.
And I’m so excited for you to be part of it.

My copywriting business is the reason I’m a sort-of digital nomad (it’s also where I nerd out about holistic health with some of the best brands in the business)
The best part about being an introvert is that everyone thinks you’re *hilarious* even when you’re just medium-funny
I’m obsessed with open windows, slow breakfasts, musicals, and Greta Gerwig’s version of Little Women
